OUR STORY

Our company starts off when several toy & game wholesalers in the region join forces and build a partnership. The oldest of these companies dates back to 1957.

The wholesalers’ association grows and spreads right across France and Partner Jouet comes into being in 1991. Our mission: bring our top-quality selection and excellent customer service to toy-lovers across the country.

Nearly twenty years later, we change our name to WDK Groupe Partner, marking a strategic shift in 2012.

In 2012 and for the first time, WDK creates a board game. It is called Dés Dingues. At the same time, the Group revolutionizes the pocket money toys market and creates a consistent visual design to enhance these products and raise their perceived value; the Wonderkids toy line is born in 2013.

As for the Jouets SAJOU retail chain, established back in 1988, we put a “fresh face” on our logo and color schemes and our stores get a new look and feel in 2015.

The game Dés Dingues meets with unexpected success and we design new games in the years that follow. So, in 2018 the Group builds its own brand of board games, Widyka, and we now design and market 2 to 3 new games per year.

WDK Groupe Partner’s new identity propels us towards the global sector of family-centered recreation, as well as our ability to create and develop our own products and brands.

We also want to reflect the Group’s values – attentiveness, responsiveness and real customer service – and express the sole purpose of our team for the last 60 years: satisfy our retail customers, suppliers and all our partners and thereby always earning their trust.
